You're already 3 months! Have we really spent over 90 days together with you already?! If I weren't so exhausted I'd never sleep just so I could spend every waking moment watching you grow and change by the minute. But since I can't do that, I'll just keep snapping that camera and taking photos of you so I can reflect on them during the quiet moments.
Nana came to stay with us this weekend to watch you while Daddy and I went to shoot pictures for a quinceanera. This was the first time you were away from either of us for more than 4 hours and now I know why mom's always call the sitters several times at night to check on their baby! Thank God that you were ok and there was enough milk to satisfy your tummy, but gosh we missed you! When we got home we were ready to play but you were fast asleep...and on your side again! I think you're so close to actually rolling over!
Ok, so a few days ago we heard you giggle for the FIRST TIME EVER! Daddy was playing with you on the bed and you were having your usual daddy/son conversation when all of a sudden we heard the newest sound from you and it as pure delight. A true giggle. Daddy tried and tried to get you to repeat it but nope. I can't wait to hear it again!
And just this morning you rolled over on your tummy all by yourself on our bed! You still can't pull your arm out from under you when you do roll, but wow. Already another milestone. Sniff. Don't grow up so fast! I'm so proud of you but at the same time I know that with each milestone you'll be one step closer to independence. That is so bittersweet.
Here are some pictures I took of you today. Nana and daddy were standing there with me helping to bring out the smiles. Ah...aren't you so cute!

and check out this photo of Daddy, you and I - who do you look like more? Hehe
